Coordinated Entry Systems

Coordinated Entry System (CES) serves as the “front door” to efficiently and equitably ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access to the system’s resources through Access Points located throughout Lake County. It uses tools and practices of, Housing Problem Solving, assessment, prioritization, and referral to available housing services, incorporating a system-wide Housing First (no barriers to entry) approach, and, in an environment of scarce resources, coordinates housing support available, housing assistance and services that are needed for housing stability.
