Coordinated Entry Systems

The Coordinated Entry System (CES) serves as the “front door” to efficiently and equitably match individuals and families at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness to available housing assistance and services. It prioritizes those who are most in need of assistance with the resources available. Access Points, which are located throughout the county, are where households experiencing homelessness can go for an initial assessment before being contacted by the centralized CES who will provide Problem Solving services, assessment, prioritization, and referral to available housing services.
